Add Project Filters

It would helpful to organize by project type with filters for therapeutic area (cancer, autoimmune, orphan disease, etc), stage of development (Ideation, preclinical, etc), product type (mRNA vaccine, ADC, small-molecule, pro-drug, etc)

Benji Leibowitz: Interesting, you could then use the project description in place of asking project owners to add keywords. With this route, I think there would be value in fleshing out the description prompt suggesting creators include specific information that will enable more effective search. While it might appear obvious that a project creator should add detail a suggestive prompt would reduce the chances of leaving out important information (or keeping important information behind the project token pay wall). The prompt could include language like "Be sure to include as much relevant detail as you can such as area of research, investigational method, drug type, stage of development, etc."
Further, here is another database in addition to ICD https://meshb.nlm.nih.gov/search

Thanks for the feedback Alec Goldberg! More efficient project tagging, searching, and filtering is definitely on our plate. It will be quite difficult for people to find projects they want to review and fund if they can't find them in the first place. Currently discussing internally on the best path forward. Thanks again!

Is there any value set you know of Alec Goldberg? Should we do top level of ICD https://www.icd10data.com/ICD10CM/Codes ? Also if you know of one for the drug modality

Benji Leibowitz: It might make more sense to allow for a keyword search and prompt project creators to add keywords associated with their project. This is a similar process to how the NIH operates clinicaltrials.gov

Alec Goldberg: thanks so much. debating key word search vs semantic search, which is becoming much more popular https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFt4kR4ntAA&ab_channel=Cohere
