Looking at the project descriptions of both projects being listed, I think there should be more information available even before you invest.
The text should provide enough information for you to be able to make a more informed decision. Therefore, certain requirements for the descriptions could apply (very short one, ELI5 one, more detailed one etc.)

This has been discussed a lot (without a clear right or wrong answer!) - there needs to be enough info to drive interest in buying an IP seed, but not so much that it makes buying the seed unnecessary. The other alternative that was thought out was that there is an external deck that you can see, and then a deeper deck/doc once you've bought seeds, but it raises the activation energy needed from the researchers side, which may be a deterrent.
I think the way it should work is that now you have seeds, ping the project owner and ask for more details in the chat. If you like their answers, then buy more seeds !

Ella McC-P Makes a lot of sense and can probably work if the investment neede for one seed stays (very) low. But I find for example the ultrasound one to be kind of complex and little info

Lukas W. I know that there are project upload tips in the catalyst docs, but maybe would be good to have a little pop-up during the project upload flow? Atm as well, a lot of the rules for a 'good' project description are very instinctual and can differ from one person to another. Once there are more projects there will be more opportunities to capture data on which style of project descriptions perform best 💡

Ella McC-P it would be great to offer something like: 'here are a few of the top funded projects and their descriptions' but this will come later of course. But general tips would be great. Or something like take a tutorial or connect with XX in case of any questions to schedule a call
